Step 1: Select the Cell
Click on the cell where you want to enter multiple lines of text.

Step 2: Use the Line Break Shortcut

  • On Windows, press Alt + Enter where you want to start a new line.

  • On Mac, press Control + Option + Enter.
    This will create a line break inside the same cell without moving to the next cell.



Step 3: Adjust Row Height (Optional)
If the text appears cut off, you may need to adjust the row height. Simply drag the row border or right-click the row number, select Row Height, and enter a value that fits your text.

Step 4: Enable Wrap Text (Optional but Recommended)

  • Select the cell(s) with multiple lines.

  • Go to the Home tab and click Wrap Text.
    This ensures that all lines are visible and properly aligned within the cell.
